Tyler Richey, CMT

Tyler Richey is a cross-asset market strategist and the principal of DTR Capital Management in North Palm Beach, Florida. Since beginning his career in the financial markets in 2011, he has produced daily, weekly and quarterly research for institutional investors and financial professionals, identifying trends in stocks, bonds, commodities, currencies and key economic data in order to establish one convicted view on the state of global markets and the progression of the business cycle. His analysis has been cited more than 1,000 times by leading financial news outlets including Bloomberg, Reuters, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance and Business Insider, which named him among its "Oracles of Wall Street" in 2024.

His work combines technical analysis with macro and historical context: where the trend is, what the other asset classes say about it, and which past periods look most like the present one. He is a Chartered Market Technician.

The firm

DTR Capital Management LLC was established in 2020 in North Palm Beach, Florida. The firm is building an independent cross-asset research platform for institutional investors, advisory firms and the professionals who serve them, with pilot programs under way ahead of a December 2026 launch.
